IF MY ACCOUNT INFORMATION HAS CHANGED, HOW DO I GET HAWKWOOD THE UPDATED INFORMATION?

WHEN ARE ROYALTY CHECKS MAILED?

Checks are mailed on a monthly basis unless your account is below the minimum pay status.

WHY HAVE I NOT RECEIVED MY REVENUE CHECK?

The most common reason is because your account has not reached the minimum pay status. Hawkwood remits revenue once your balance exceeds $50. On certain occasions, payments can be held for other reasons such as uncertainty in ownership resulting from a notice in death or an assignment of interest.

When will I get paid on a newly drilled well?

Please review your lease documents. Generally, it takes 90 days from the date of first production to receive a payment. Please note that you must sign and return your Division Order before you can start receiving payment.

What is the purpose of my "Owner Number?

You have been assigned an exclusive owner number to distinguish you from other interest owners. When communicating with Hawkwood, please include your owner number.

What should I do if my check is older than 90 days?

Any check greater than three months should be marked VOID and sent back to Hawkwood at the appropriate address located on the Contact page. We will reissue the check on our next revenue check run once the check is received.

When will IRS Form 1099-Misc. be issued?

1099's are issued on or before January 31 of the following taxable year.
