WE ARE fortunate to operate where we do

Philanthropy

Hawkwood believes in giving back to the community in which we operate and encourages employee volunteerism and philanthropy. In October 2015, 20 employees from Hawkwood partnered with Habitat for Humanity to help build homes in Bryan, Texas. Habitat for Humanity believes that everyone should have a healthy, affordable place to call home, and Hawkwood was pleased to work toward that goal alongside other Habitat for Humanity volunteers. Through this partnership, employees helped paint and build homes for future home owners. By building homes, we build communities, hope and the opportunity for families to help themselves. Hawkwood intends to stay active in volunteerism, with a focus on aiding those in need.

“We feel very fortunate to operate where we do. It is a great community, and we have enjoyed getting to know many of the area’s residents. Hawkwood has deep ties to Texas, including having employees originally from the Brazos Valley area. So we always enjoy finding ways to help give back to the community. Hawkwood would like to thank Habitat for Humanity for allowing us to have the opportunity to volunteer and help transform lives,” Said Pat Oenbring, CEO of Hawkwood.
